Police And Citizens Together Program (P.A.C.T.)

The Douglas Police Department created a community-based program that encourages residents to help maintain the quality of life within their communities. Police and Citizens Together (P.A.C.T.) is designed to complement Neighborhood Watch programs. The Community Relations Officer will work with residents on quality-of-life issues such as speeding, assisting residents in taking measures to prevent crimes and facilitating two community meetings each year within each police zone.

Through P.A.C.T., the Community Relations Officer will hold community events in each police zone of the city at least twice a year. P.A.C.T. meetings may be such events as Coffee With a Cop, Pizza with the Police, or other community events in a park within the zone where residents have the opportunity to bring concerns to the Police Department.

For more information about the P.A.C.T. program, please contact the Douglas Police Department at (912)384-2222 or email Sgt. Chad Williams at cwilliams@cityofdouglas.com.
