The City of Douglas Community Development Department - Planning Division has received an application to rezone 1.82 acres located at 948 SW Bowens Mill Road from G-C, General Commercial to M-1, Light Industrial or M-2, Industrial. The City Commission will hold the 1st public hearing for this request on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. and the 2nd public hearing will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Both hearings will be held at the C.E. Weir Center, 307 East Bryan St. Douglas, GA 31533. The applicant wishes to rezone the property area to Light Industrial or Industrial for the purpose of retailing and manufacturing small utility trailers.
