Notice is hereby given that the ordinance herein captioned will be read for the first time at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Douglas, Georgia, held on March 13th, 2023 in the City Hall Council Room, 302 S. Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia.
“AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF DOUGLAS CODES AND ORDINANCES, SUBPART B, CONSTRUCTION, LAND USE AND LAND DEVELOPMENT, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, ARTICLE VII, CHAPTER 111, SUPPLEMENTAL STANDARDS, SECTIONS 111-73- TABLE OF PERMITTED USES, SECTION 111-269 MOBILE VENDORS BY AMENDING THE SECTION 111-269 AND ADDING SECTION 111-269.1 AND AMENDING SECTION 111-282, TEMPORARY USES, INCLUDING SPECIAL EVENTS AND STRUCTURES AND TO REGULATE MOBILE VENDORS AND MOBILE FOOD VENDORS: TO PROVIDE FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES”
This ordinance will be read for the second time followed by a public hearing on Monday, March 27th, 2023, at 6 PM in the City Hall Council Room, located at 302 S. Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia. After the public hearing, the ordinance will be voted upon at the regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Douglas, Georgia. Anyone interested in said ordinance should be in appearance at the said meeting on the above-stated dates.
