Qualifications:
All project work shall conform to Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Archaeology and Historic Preservation, which include the Standards for Preservation Planning and Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. All project materials shall be reviewed by DCA. The review process includes reviewing and approving the request for proposals, consultant contract and contract scope-of-work, the preliminary drafts, final draft, and other materials determined necessary during project development.
Special Requirements:
SCHEDULE
August 2, 2024: First draft of design guidelines due to City of Douglas for HPC review.

August 15, 2024: First Draft of design guidelines submitted in electronic format (MS Word) to the DCA for review and comment

October 18, 2024: Second/revised draft of design guidelines due to City of Douglas for HPC review.

November 1, 2024: Second Draft of design guidelines submitted in electronic format (MS Word) to the DCA for review and comment, as necessary

January 2, 2025: Final digital Design Guidelines ready and two USB flash drives to Community Development Office. Three paper copies to be produced. City of Douglas will subsequently fulfill digital and print submission requirements for DCA by January 15, 2025.

January 15, 2025: Final design guidelines submitted to the DCA in hard copy format one (1) copies and one (1) electronic copy.

Miscellaneous:
Please include five (5) copies of bid in package and (1) USB.
