| Copies of the Bid Forms, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained from Lancore Engineering, P.C., 600 Ashley Street W, Douglas, Georgia 31533, 912-384-8400, for $200.00 per hard copy set and $150.00 per digital set (PDF format). No refunds will be made for returned documents. All documents listed above are available for review, at the office of Lancore Engineering, P.C. All bidders must receive bid package from Lancore Engineering, P.C. in order to be eligible to bid.

| The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to widen an existing 0.33 mile asphalt street, install a new drainage system, curb and gutter and sidewalks according to the details in the specifications.

| All bidders must receive bid package from Lancore Engineering, P.C. in order to be eligible to bid. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond, made payable to the City of Douglas in the amount of at least five (5) percent of the lump sum bid. Separate contract Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to execution of contracts. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.

| The work on the project must be completed by July 31, 2024 and within 200 consecutive calendar days of the date of notice to proceed. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
