Low-Interest Loans
Grant money years ago was interpreted as free money. Unfortunately there is no free money available. However, there are a variety of low-interest loans available.
The most commonly utilized loan is offered through the Small Business Development Center. The area director's office is located in Valdosta, Georgia.
Process
The following is the process applicants follow when applying for a small business loan:
- The area director will request to speak to you directly as the potential small business owner.
- Typically, the area director will schedule an appointment with you and the two of you will meet privately at a time and location that is convenient for you.
- You will be requested to have your small business plan ready for review the day you meet with the Small Business Development Center director.
