On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, City of Douglas and Coffee County officials traveled to Atlanta for the 30th Annual Okefenokee Occasion Reception. The purpose of the annual Southern Georgia Regional Commission’s Okefenokee Occasion is to allow local governments an opportunity to express their concerns for their community with legislators during the legislative session at the Georgia State Capitol.
