The Douglas-Coffee County Planning Commission will have a regular meeting discussing this request on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall in the Commission Chambers, located at 302 S Madison Avenue Douglas, GA 31533. After discussion by the Planning Commission, the request, along with a public hearing, will be made before the Mayor and City Commissioners for consideration, approving or denying the request on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 6:00 PM at City Hall, located at 302 S Madison Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533.
Anyone interested or has feedback regarding the variance request should be in appearance at the said meetings on the above-stated dates. A copy of the variance request may be reviewed at City Hall in the Community Development Department, Planning Division, 302 S Madison Avenue Douglas, GA 31533, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Holiday hours may differ. City of Douglas offices will be closed on November 10, 2023, for Veterans Day. The review may take place between now through November 13, 2023 by 5:00p.m.
