Southern Natural Gas of Ashurn, GA has arrived on the scene and has determined that the natural gas leak that occurred on Saturday, March 22, 2014 was coming from a filter in the line. The repair should not take long to resolve.

The City of Douglas would like to thank the public safety workers from the Douglas Police Department, County Sheriff Department, Douglas Fire Department, County Fire Department, Natural Gas Department and especially Southern Natural for diligently working to contain the line and to maintain safety during this breach of service. The City would also like to thank the residents of County Line Road for your patience while this natural gas leak was being repaired.
