According to Lamar Hill, City of Douglas Electric Director, currently we have outages in the areas of and surrounding E. Baker Hwy, Pope Dr, Loyce Lane, Wheeler Park, Cherry St , College Ave, Shirley Ave and Manilla Ave. Several traffic lights have also been reported out due to the incident. City Police have been stationed at these lights. At this time, it is estimated 4 + hours to have everything fully restored. The City of Douglas apologizes for this temporary loss of power to customers and hope to have service reinstated as soon as possible. For any emergencies because of the outage, please call 9-1-1.
