[ARCHIVED] DOUGLAS UTILITIES WORKING THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT TO RESTORE POWER AND WATER

The City of Douglas would like to inform our utility customers that Douglas Utilities personnel have diligently been working to restore power.  We are aware some customers are still without power. Please know that our crews are dedicated to work throughout the night and until all power has been restored to our industrial, commercial, and residential customers.

Also as a result of the storm, several of our water wells are down and beginning tomorrow customers may experience brown water. Please use caution and do not drink the water, if it is brown. If your power is back on and prior to doing laundry, be sure to check for brown water, so that your clothes won't be damaged.

If you have not yet reported your power outage, please contact our Customer Care Center by dialing 3-1-1 or Coffee 9-1-1.

We thank you for your patience as Douglas Utility crews work to restore power and water as promptly as possible.
