The public is invited to attend a Regional Meeting to discuss and strategize ways to make opposition known against the Moody AFB Airspace Initiative. The public meeting will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 9:30am, at the CE Weir Center, located at 307 E. Bryan Street in Douglas. The Douglas community supports and appreciates the importance of Moody AFB, however, at the same time, the community also must unite in support of the importance role of our local and regional airports. This meeting will be a time to bring further awareness of the initiative, to hear from community spokespersons how this initiative may have a negatively economic development impact, and to form a regional leadership team to speak up during the Public Meeting, hosted by Moody AFB, on October 29, 2020. The City of Douglas welcomes the public and hopes to have public participation in this meeting.
