On October 1, 2024, at 8:22 p.m., the City of Douglas lifted the boil water advisory for City of Douglas customers. The water in Douglas is safe to drink and use for cooking. We are reissuing this notice because we have learned that some residents were not informed. We understand that some communication has been disrupted during our Hurricane Helene recovery, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
