The Christmas season is here and the Neighborhood Involvement Program (N.I.P.) is sponsoring a program for the most beautifully decorated exterior of homes in each City Ward. Residents who think they have the most festive outdoor décor are invited to participate in the N.I.P. Christmas Home Decorating Contest.
“The Holidays are approaching, and what better way to get everyone in the Holiday Spirit than by offering a friendly competition,” says City Manager Terrell Jacobs. “This year, with winners in all six wards, we are looking forward to see Douglas neighborhoods light up for the Holiday Season.”
Register now through December 19, 2011 at City Hall located at 224 W. Bryan Street. Outdoor decorations must be completed by December 19, 2011. One winner in each Ward will receive a prize and be recognized at the City Commission Meeting on December 27, 2011. Registration is free and you must live in the City limits to participate.
