The City of Douglas has been notified by Georgia DOT that beginning October 17, 2016, East Coast Asphalt will be closing Iron Road to through traffic from Douglas Bypass to Mingledorf Drive. The road closure will be required to construct new bridge crossing the railroad and Iron Road. Iron Road will remained closed for approximately 6 weeks.
