The City of Douglas has been notified beginning Tuesday, April 25, 2017, Iron Road will be closed to thru traffic from Perimeter Road (Douglas Bypass) to Mingledorf Drive. The road closure will be required to construct the new bridge crossing the railroad tracks and Iron Road. Iron Road will remained closed until bridge construction is complete. Motorists should expect traffic delays and allow for extra driving time to destinations. Please excuse our progress as we continue with the expansion of Perimeter Road.
