[ARCHIVED] INTERESTED IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN DOUGLAS AND COFFEE COUNTY?

Do you want to help make a difference in the city of Douglas?  The City of Douglas is searching for motivated individuals, who want to make a difference in the community, to serve on volunteer boards and committees.  

A volunteer is needed to fill a vacancy on the City of Douglas Airbase Preservation & Development Committee.   The purpose of the Airbase Preservation and Development Committee is to make recommendations to the City on matters involving the historic airbase located at Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport. Volunteer applications must be submitted prior to December 28, 2020, 5pm.  

The City of Douglas Community Development Department is looking for volunteers for the executive board of the newly formed, Keep Douglas Beautiful, a Keep America Beautiful (KAB) affiliate.   KAB affiliates are community-based and represent communities that range in geographic area, population, and budget.   Individuals interested in serving on the board of the Keep Douglas Beautiful Committee, please contact Christian Mikell in the Community Development Department, at 912-383-0277 or email cmikell@cityofdouglas.com.
