City website administrators would like citizens to be more aware of the “Notify Me” module on the City of Douglas website. The Notify Me module can be used by citizens to stay up to date on news happening concerning City of Douglas government. When citizens sign up with Notify Me, they will be able to select which services they wish to receive via email or text message.
When the Notify Me button is clicked on the City of Douglas home page, persons will be able to subscribe to the lists that you wish to be informed about. The general public can receive the City of Douglas e-newsletter, information about bid postings, job opportunities, public service announcements and emergencies, and a calendar of events. Email addresses are kept confidential and will not be sold, disclosed to others or used for unsolicited mass mailings (spam). Once the lists have been selected, individuals should remember to set their spam blocker to allow mail from listserv@civicplus.com.
