The Douglas Police Department is teaming together with law enforcement agencies, Coffee County Churches, and the Magnolia House to participate in National Faith and Blue Weekend, October 7-9, 2022.
During Faith & Blue weekend on Sunday, October 9, churches in Coffee County are asked to recognize law enforcement officers and to collect donations for the Magnolia House Shelter for Abused Persons. The Police Department will coordinate with churches to pick up all donations and arrange delivery to the Magnolia House.
Faith and Blue Weekend is an initiative of Movement Forward, Inc. and One Congregation One Precinct (OneCOP). The Magnolia House is a non-profit agency that provides services to victims of domestic violence who do not know where to turn, or have no place to go for assistance.
