[ARCHIVED] DPD hosting End of School Bash, May 31, 2024

The Douglas Police Department and Douglas Fire Department cordially invite school-age children to the End of School Bash. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 31, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the City Pool. Children can enjoy free entrance to the pool and splash pad, as well as other exciting activities suitable for all ages.

"Come and join us for a day of fun-filled activities as we celebrate the end of the school year!" says Douglas Police Chief Brannen Pruette. "Children can enjoy a variety of activities such as delicious food, refreshing Coca-Cola drinks, the pool and splash pad, kickball, and socializing with DPD Officers and Douglas Firefighters."

With a large crowd expected, the pool and splash pad will be limited based on the occupancy load and the availability of lifeguards. The last entrance into the pool will be at 1:00 p.m. Attendees will have time to enjoy all the morning and afternoon activities.

Special thanks to our partners Tifton Coca-Cola, Douglas Mayors Youth Council, and Parks & Recreation. For more information, (912)384-2222.
