Public Hearing for Certificate of Appropriateness at 300 S. Peterson Avenue

The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) of Douglas has received a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application, in which the applicant seeks to limewash exterior bricks at location 300 Peterson Ave. S, parcel D013 141 (Kribs and Kradles location). This area is within the Downtown Douglas Historic District 

Notice is hereby given that a Historic Preservation Committee meeting and public hearing will be held to review the submitted COA on October 23, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 302 S. Madison Ave., Douglas, GA 31533

The application can be reviewed at the City of Douglas Community Development Department, Planning & Zoning Division, 302 S. Madison Ave., Douglas, GA 31533, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (EST), Monday through Friday. Holiday hours may differ. Requests for review of the application may be made by October 23, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
