The Douglas Fire Department is proud to announce the arrival of its newest apparatus - a Fouts Mini-Pumper Fire Rescue Truck. This advanced unit is designed to improve response times and provide greater flexibility for a wide range of emergency situations.
The Fouts Mini-Pumper combines the power of a traditional pumper with the agility of a smaller, more maneuverable vehicle. The truck features a high-capacity pump and water tank for rapid fire suppression, compact design for navigating tight streets and off-road areas, and rescue-ready configuration, equipped with essential tools for vehicle extrication, medical emergencies, and technical rescues.
The addition of this truck reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to community safety and operational excellence.
