[ARCHIVED] BIKES, BLUES, AND BBQ FESTIVAL NOW ACCEPTING VENDORS!

The Bikes, Blues, and BBQ Festival will be held in Douglas on Friday, March 28 and on Saturday, March 29. This outdoor event will feature all types of vendors including arts & crafts, food, motorcycles, BBQ and more! Activities will include a BBQ Competition, NAPA/Brooks Auto Car Show, Motorcycle Show, Poker Run, displays of vintage aircraft, and Live Blues Bands under the sun and stars!

“For a few years now, Douglas has missed the atmosphere of a BBQ related festival mixed with outdoor events,” says Georgia Henderson, Public Information Department Director. “With the support of the local community, we hope to build this festival into one of the largest outdoor festivals in South Georgia that will become a signature event for Douglas.”

Festivities will begin at 1pm on Friday at the Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport on 441 South. On Saturday, the Festival will be open to the public from 9am – 5pm. Gate fees are $5.00 per car or $2.00 per motorcycle.

Applications are being accepted for vendors and cook teams for this event. For more information, call (912)383-0277 or visit www.CityofDouglas.com.
