After several months of searching for a local vendor to provide adult beverages, Danny’s Pizza has agreed to be the alcoholic beverage caterer at the Bikes, Blues and BBQ Festival. Along with event sponsor, Southern Eagle Distributing, Danny’s Pizza will provide adult beverages such as wine and beer.
“We appreciate Danny’s for stepping up and agreeing to help provide this feature of our festival,” says City Manager Terrell Jacobs. “Partnering with a respectable, local, business like Danny’s Pizza will hopefully prevent boundaries from being crossed during the serving of the alcohol and will add an additional aspect to the Festival.”
The “Brews Tent” will be open to persons 21 years of age and older. The Bikes, Blues and BBQ Festival will open at 1pm on Friday at the Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport on 441 South. On Saturday, the Festival will be open to the public from 9am – 5pm. General gate admission is $5.00 per car or $2.00 per motorcycle.
