[ARCHIVED] KICKOFF HALLOWEEN WITH A CANDLELIGHT GHOST TOUR OF THE ASHLEY SLATER HOUSE

The Douglas Visitor Information Center (Ashley-Slater House) will offer everyone a chance to kickoff Halloween with Candlelight Ghost Tours as an October promotion. Hurry and purchase your tickets for the 6:30pm tour - the 7:15pm tour is already full! The tours will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 6:30pm at the historic Ashley Slater House located at 211 S. Gaskin Avenue. Tour fee is $5.00 per person.

Participants will experience a candle lit, night-time tour based on the history of the house with the first tour beginning at 6:30pm. After each tour, light refreshments will be served. Each person will be entered for door prizes. Participants will have the chance to win 2 free park passes to Wild Adventures that will be given away after each tour. Tour is family friendly, but, do expect a few surprises throughout the evening. Who knows – maybe you will see the infamous Slater House ghost!
