With the New Year here, Douglas Coffee County Parks and Recreation has taken a new step to better communicate with parents, participants and fans of their programs. DCCPRD is now offering a way for citizens to receive text or email notifications regarding game rainouts or other news relating to leisure services through the “Rained Out” web service.
To stay up to date on games that are rained out or other information, go to the city website, www.cityofdouglas.com/recreation and click on the link for Rained Out. Once you click on it, you will be taken to the Rained Out website. In the SEARCH BOX enter Douglas-Coffee County, search, and select Douglas-Coffee Parks & Recreation Department opt in to alerts by either entering mobile telephone number or email address. You will receive a validation code through email, enter code and you're all set to receive messages.
