[ARCHIVED] SUMMER BEACH BASH WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 7th

Get ready to COOL off this summer with the annual Summer Beach Bash on June 7, 2016! The Beach Bash will be held from 4pm – 8pm in the vacant lot adjacent to City Hall on 441S in downtown Douglas. With activities planned for all ages, this is sure to be one of the best Beach Parties - away from the beach!

“We are hoping to attract more visitors to the downtown area,” says Pattie Merritt, Main Street Coordinator. “This year is going to be lots of fun for everyone who visits downtown!”

Outdoor vendors will be selling items relating to food, novelty, inflatables, and specialty merchandise. Kid activities will include large waterslides, bouncy house, Hoola Hoop contest, Passport to Play hunt, character appearances by Sparky, Fire Pup, and McGruff, a street dance, and more!
