The South Georgia BBQ and Outdoor Festival will be held at Central Square Complex in downtown Douglas, September 9, 2016 from 1pm-10:30pm and September 10, 2016 9am-5pm. Vendors and sponsors are being sought to fill both exhibit halls inside Central Square Complex and the outside grounds as well. Event organizers are planning a festival packed with a combination of events that will include GBA BBQ Competition, Motorcycle Show & Poker Run, NAPA/Brooks Auto Parts Car Show, Friday night concert, special demonstrations and workshops, turkey & duck calling contest, kids play area, food vendors, general & arts/craft vendors, hunting & fishing gear/apparel, motorcycle/car accessories, and more!
“We are looking for sponsors who want to help grow this festival for Douglas & Coffee County,” says Georgia Henderson, Public Information Director. “It takes great a community effort to be able to grow this event each year as well as attract a large attendance. As in the past with other festivals & events, we want to offer a variety of exhibitors, educational opportunities, great food, and fun activities for all ages.”
Attendees are guaranteed a two day event that is packed with live demonstrations, hands-on activities, celebrity appearances, and fun for the entire family. No general admission, however, fees do apply for the Friday night concert and other activities.
